  •                        Annie "Yining" Chen graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors and The Robert M. and Elizabeth Hatton Landis Art Award from Franklin and Marshall College in 2020. A distinguished member of both the Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society and the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, she pursued a major in Studio Arts and a minor in applied mathematics for her bachelor's degree. Annie's academic journey cultivated a profound belief that architecture embodies the perfect fusion of art and mathematics. An enriching experience studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, broadened Annie's creative horizons and instilled in her a proactive mindset toward achieving design excellence. Complemented by her rigorous education at Franklin and Marshall College, where she gained a solid foundation in design principles, color theory, and sustainable practices, Annie's academic pursuits have equipped her with a holistic understanding of the architectural process.

    In pursuit of further growth, Annie has expanded her skill set through a Master's in Architecture, mastering software tools such as Rhino, Adobe, and Unreal Engine. Through coursework and hands-on projects, she has refined her ability to think critically and creatively about space and design, adeptly collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. As student and ambassador in the Master of Architecture program at Georgia Tech. She eagerly anticipated delving into the exploration of shapes and forms in architecture, leveraging her expertise in visual arts and a keen eye for the aesthetic potential of reclaimed materials. With a passionate commitment to understanding how design can positively impact lives across diverse regions and cultures, Annie embarked on her architectural journey with zeal and purpose.

    Drawing from her professional experience, Annie has honed her technical proficiency and adaptability by contributing to concept designs, conducting on-site surveys, and creating detailed Revit models. Collaborating closely with project architects, she has developed strategies to optimize space and enhance customer experiences through meticulous renovation planning and innovative merchandising strategies. Additionally, Annie possesses extensive expertise in model making, adeptly utilizing a variety of materials and construction methods, including traditional techniques and laser cutting technology.
